Love and Care International (UK)

Our students are taking part in a walk along the Dorset Coast and raising sponsorship in aid of Love and Care International (UK).  This walk has been organised by Viscountess Head and is aimed at raising money for the Love and Care India Children's Homes.  Parents of our students have already been asked to sponsor their child and the 10 mile stretch of the Dorset Coast that our students are walking will take place on Friday 11th June.

Dr. Colin Davidson

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Colin Davidson onto our board of Trustees.

Mr. Martin Hall

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Martin Hall will be joining the school in September as our Head of Education.  We also welcome  Mr. Michael Williams who has recently joined us as our Assistant Gardener.

The Earl of Shaftesbury

Our Patron, Lord Shaftesbury, has recovered well from his broken back and recently joined a whole school trip to Port Lympne in Kent, part of the Aspinall Foundation, where we visit the gorillas.  We all had a wonderful day including a safari.

Use of Telephones

Could we please remind all parents that phone calls to your students should be kept to a maximum of 5 minutes per call.  This is so that everyone has an opportunity to use the telephone.  We understand that this may need you to curtail the conversation.  It is also very difficult for students to get access to the telephone if parents call every night.  Please limit your calls to a couple of times per week.  We are not trying to stop you talking to your children, but trying to allow EVERYONE a fair opportunity.

Dates for your diary
